When we live within this intense furnace of loving embrace entered only through union of sacrificial effort and look outside the door of it upon Jerusalem, one cannot help but weep with Him. How our Lord lived in this world and felt its unholy heartbeat so opposed to its purpose and intent, and still remained alive, is a miracle of love exposed. One cannot understand the pain sin gives Him until one loves Him in His Heart in Holy Sacrifice. Amen. We are so ungrateful! Dear Lord, forgive your children who applaud You one day and crucify You the next... Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us. Thank you Fathers, for bringing us Our Lord in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and Adoration especially today. He is so honored in Exposition during 40 Hours Devotion especially... may this beautiful devotion extend and never end!

"And He showed me that it was His great desire of being loved by men and of withdrawing them from the path of ruin into which Satan hurls such crowds of them, that made Him form the design of manifesting His Heart to men, with all the treasures of love, of mercy, of grace, of sanctification and salvation which it contains, in order that those who desire to render Him and procure for Him all the honor and love possible, might themselves be abundantly enriched with those divine treasures of which this Heart is the source.

He should be honored under the figure of this Heart of flesh, and its image should be exposed...He promised me that wherever this image should be exposed with a view to showing it special honor, He would pour forth His blessings and graces. This devotion was the last effort of His love that He would grant to men in these latter ages, in order to withdraw them from the empire of Satan which He desired to destroy, and thus to introduce them into the sweet liberty of the rule of His love, which He wished to restore in the hearts of all those who should embrace this devotion."..... "The devotion is so pleasing to Him that He can refuse nothing to those who practice it."

Dear Friends in Our Lord,

Please kindly understand Our Lord is indeed available to us in the New Rite of the Novus Ordo Missae, and I am relieved daily by His most kind gift of self to His children there, and partake of Him with much gratitude myself in this Rite. However, when one contemplates this great mystery of His enormous love for His Children more and more, we ascend into a higher realm of contemplation of this mystery. It is most silent and all of the reaching out is between Our Lord and the soul. The Tridentine Mass is an outward expression of this Love in its highest form. One desires then to do everything they can to give to Our Lord the most fragrant bouquet of prayer possible, and this Rite is incredible that way! I always hesitate in the prayer offering in the New Rite immediately after Consecration... as it infers Our Lord will come again, when He is right here! He is here before us now! In the Tridentine, it is beautifully expressed as the Sacrificial Lamb arrived before us... and so it goes throughout the Mass in its entirety. It is written by the Saints who contemplated Him for centuries to arrive at this beautiful format.

However, when we lose sight of this contemplative nature of the mystical life, we become uncomfortable in seeming silence which is most profound when spent in the company of the Mystical Body. We spend so much time then reaching out to Our Lord in the one next to us, attempting to connect with Him in our neighbor physically more, a spiritual imbalance prevails then. A combined effort for sure needs to be maintained for true balance here. We reach out to neighbor 6 days a week I think, and it is a slight to Our Lord to take His visitation time lightly here. We are turning away from Our Lord to reach out to Him in our neighbor, and yet turning from Him during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass to find Him is losing Him. A Truth fully supported by the great lack of faith so prevalent in the Real Presence today. When the spiritual is highlighted versus the physical aspects of things, that spirit will prevail in all once again. Amen.

A reaching out to neighbor after Mass perhaps, rather than the distraction of this during… the Peace of Christ reigns in silent appreciation of a priest and father at the helm of the ship, leading all in reverent worship and facing Our Lord, King of Kings in true unified effort. I was present at a Mass immediately after the Motu Proprio led by Fr. Fessio of Ignatius Press,  the Holy Father’s approved publisher. He explained it all this way with much gusto… a gusto he would not have exclaimed without superior support.

The Peace be with you and extension of handshake during some Masses turns into chaos of distraction here. I must restrain my son from the rabbit ear fingers and pull him back to Our Lord, which is mostly misunderstood as an unfriendly interruption of neighbor then, rather than the true friendship of Christ most physically present and a refocus upon the importance of the Holy Sacrifice taking place before us.

The Sacrifice of the Mass as we call it in the Tridentine, is seemingly considered a meal of The Lord’s Supper in the New Rite, and so spirits reflect the attitude accordingly. What to do? A personal observation most supportable by the lack of belief in this mystery today, and why Our Holy Father is attempting to pull us back towards traditional efforts and reflections through liturgical revisement. We traditionalists must respect his efforts here. Anyone with a family knows there are many who do not embrace their Faith with fervor no matter what we do. The spirit is not willing, and so the flesh is weaker and weaker, right? Imagine a Holy Father with a family in that light, and realize he is initiating a reform his family can endure without running away entirely. Sometimes though, it seems best to just put the parental foot down, and insist upon order in the house, and if the children disobey, correct them accordingly, right?  Let them run away and pout, and invite them back to the supper table of the Holy Sacrifice only upon amendment, yes? What I do as a mom, and it works okay, but the attitude often remains even so. Takes generations to iron out in the true Spirit of sacrificial offering of self as Our Holy Mother insists upon. Don the sackcloth and do penance to incorporate. The Holy Spirit must be willingly embraced and insisted upon by our bishops and pastors, and taught to the children again… and we need to support their efforts in our families by doing the same.  Most parents and children don’t even know the Faith today, it is a business of amiable spirit and political correctness outwardly filled with dead mens bones inwardly. Embrace our Faith vehemently and we are fanatical mostly. Hardly the Spirit of the Holy Family, which proudly produces martyrs of the Faith. It has to be fully lived and taught again, but it all takes generations of time…   

All that said, by someone like me at that! please fully accept Our Lord makes and breaks the laws of the Church along with us in our times of infirmity, so He honors our interior intentions here. Think about it, and please instead of forcing Him to bow and scrape and stoop to our level, let us rise to His. Amen. The more we grow in love of Him, the greater these expressions of love grow as well. The ornate vestments, exquisitely carved gothic structures and tabernacles, altars, statues, the incense, the Trinitarian utterances throughout, all the symbols and subtle harmonies rise heavenwards in heavenly expression of love more perfectly aspired to.

It is the Mass St. Padre Pio preferred for a good reason. Know that. He died when he did with good cause.

Our Lord is equally present at both Masses, though not equally honored as such, please realize and accept that, dear friends on both sides of this fence. Thank you. There can be so much hostility in opposing camps, we need to reach out in understanding towards one another. Upheld traditional format can develop an unholy spirit of righteousness and "we are the remnant" can develop in one, contrary to the all embracing unholy spirit of anything goes except support of tradition seemingly gone stale... We need to embrace the Holy Spirit in the Truths of Our Holy Faith again, and assist one another in greater understanding. This problem did not develop overnight. The Vatican Council was most justifiable in its need. Our Lord complained to Ven. Anna Maria Taigi a century earlier in this most reverent setting, that though the Church was packed, hearts remained cold and indifferent. In our attempts to warm them up however, the smoke of Satan has entered instead of the holy flame of the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts... Let us pray and work on it together in holy understanding. Amen.
