Now with full color Heavenly Envelopes! We have considered calling these cards “Catechism Cards”, as they say so much about our Faith in word and picture. They are Blank on the inside so you can say it your way, but the front, back and bookmark are chock full of Saintly quotations, thoughts and prayers. The picture doesn’t stop on the front either, we can’t restrain ourselves, and quite often the back could be the front! Most of our cards can be used for any occasion, we’ve purposely not said “Happy Birthday” or “Happy Mother’s Day”... which would limit their use for those days alone. One card at a time, perhaps we can change the sentiments of the world! Each Card is printed on quality card stock and is approximately 4¼”x 5¼”. ENVELOPE INCLUDED WITH EACH CARD. MIX & MATCH! Back of Card: ADVENT Let us remember that the days preceding Christmas, called Advent, are days of preparation, of anticipation! Just as we plan weeks ahead of time for important guests, cleaning our house and planning meals, so it should be during Advent. The Liturgical color is purple to represent penitence, as we fast and pray, preparing our souls for the arrival of this Most Special of Guests, Jesus! Ideally, the Christmas Tree, which represents the Tree of Life, is not lit until Christmas Eve, when He who is the Light of the World, Our Saviour Jesus Christ, arrives at midnight! ALSO A PRAYER: Dearest Child Jesus, How I long for the day When I too can kiss Thee, And thank Thee for Thy Many Favors! But wait, What are You saying to me? You long for my visit as well? That I can visit You now, today? That You wait for me in Thy Most Blessed Sacrament Upon the Altar? Ah Dear Jesus, I will run to Thee right away! We all know of such religious, and freely criticize and condemn them. Are we not part of the problem? Let us stop casting stones at our clergy, and assist them instead! Pray! Fast! Implore God to sanctify them, that they may sanctify you! “Pray ye the Lord of the harvest that he send forth laborers into his harvest.” (Matt. ix. 38) “The Church lays much store by the prayers and good works of the faithful, when there is question of conferring Holy Orders. Thus we read in the Acts of the Apostles (xiii. 2, 3) that the Christians of Antioch were fasting and praying when the apostles imposed hands upon St. Barnabas and St. Paul, and ordained them priests and bishops. If the sincere Christian should have nothing more at heart than the advancement of the honor of God, the welfare of the Church, and the salvation of his brethren by good and virtuous priests, then it is for us a grave and urgent duty to offer to God... our prayers and our fasts, to the end that the Holy Ghost may enlighten the bishop, that he may not err in making the choice of priests and ministers for the Church, that he may select the worthy, and drive from the sanctuary the unworthy. Besides this, we should also pray that the Spirit of God may come down with the plenitude of his gifts upon the newly-ordained priests. ”

Back of Card contains Consecration Prayer of St. Margaret Mary: "And He showed me that it was His great desire of being loved by men and of withdrawing them from the path of ruin into which Satan hurls such crowds of them, that made Him form the design of manifesting His Heart to men, with all the treasures of love, of mercy, of grace, of sanctification and salvation which it contains, in order that those who desire to render Him and procure for Him all the honor and love possible, might themselves be abundantly enriched with those divine treasures of which this Heart is the source. He should be honored under the figure of this Heart of flesh, and its image should be exposed...He promised me that wherever this image should be exposed with a view to showing it special honor, He would pour forth His blessings and graces. This devotion was the last effort of His love that He would grant to men in these latter ages, in order to withdraw them from the empire of Satan which He desired to destroy, and thus to introduce them into the sweet liberty of the rule of His love, which He wished to restore in the hearts of all those who should embrace this devotion."..... The importance of Devotion to Mary is expressed on the back of this card, with her words to the children of Fatima. Here is just a part of what is on the back: "You have seen Hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace." "In the end My Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me and she will be converted and a period of peace will be granted to the world." Quotations from the Saints also help us realize there is no better way to Jesus than through Mary. Here is just one that graces the back of this card: St. Margaret Mary, said that "the most efficacious way to have devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus is through the Immaculate Heart of Mary." And her spiritual director, St. Claude de la Colombiere stated: "I turn to Mary and ask her to obtain for me the grace to imitate Our Lord’s Heart. I saw how perfectly her Heart copied His."

Our Saints own words grace the back of this card, encouraging us in areas we all need improvement on! On the bookmark is a poem of love she wrote to Jesus. CHARITY I feel that when I am charitable it is Jesus alone who acts in me; the more I am united to Him the more do I love all my Sisters. If, when I desire to increase this love in my heart, the demon tries to set before my eyes the faults of one or other of the Sisters, I hasten to call to mind her virtues, her good desires; I say to myself that if I had seen her fall once, she may well have gained many victories which she conceals through humility; and that even what appears to me a fault may in truth be an act of virtue by reason of the intention. There is another paragraph devoted to the importance of SIMPLICITY, and the necessity of being content, whether we be a grand rose, or a simple wildflower in God’s garden... all are needed for His bouquet!
