Now with full color Heavenly Envelopes! We have considered calling these cards “Catechism Cards”, as they say so much about our Faith in word and picture. They are Blank on the inside so you can say it your way, but the front, back and bookmark are chock full of Saintly quotations, thoughts and prayers. The picture doesn’t stop on the front either, we can’t restrain ourselves, and quite often the back could be the front! Most of our cards can be used for any occasion, we’ve purposely not said “Happy Birthday” or “Happy Mother’s Day”... which would limit their use for those days alone. One card at a time, perhaps we can change the sentiments of the world! Each Card is printed on quality card stock and is approximately 4¼”x 5¼”. ENVELOPE INCLUDED WITH EACH CARD. MIX & MATCH! Back of card: This consecration which was first composed by St. Margaret Mary in honor of the Sacred Heart and called by her "The Little Consecration," possesses the very precious privilege of having been inspired and recommended by our Lord himself to His faithful servant. The Little Consecration by St. Margaret Mary: I give myself and consecrate to the Sacred Heart of our Lord Jesus Christ, my person and my life, my actions, pains and sufferings, so that I may be unwilling to make use of any part of my being other than to honor, love and glorify the Sacred Heart. This is my unchanging purpose, namely, to be all His, and to do all things for the love of Him, at the same time renouncing with all my heart whatever is displeasing to Him. I therefore take You, O Sacred heart, to be the only object of my love, the guardian of my life, my assurance of salvation, the remedy of my weakness and inconstancy, the atonement for all the faults of my life and my sure refuge at the hour of death. Be then, O Heart of goodness, my justification before God the Father, and turn away from me the strokes of his righteous anger. O Heart of love, I put all my confidence in You, for I fear everything from my own wickedness and frailty, but I hope for all things from Your goodness and bounty. Remove from me all that can displease You or resist Your holy will; let your pure love imprint Your image so deeply upon my heart, that I shall never be able to forget You or to be separated from You. May I obtain from all Your loving kindness the grace of having my name written in Your Heart, for in You I desire to place all my happiness and glory, living and dying in bondage to You. Amen.

I like to send this card out a couple of weeks before Easter, as it reminds people of the great graces that are awaiting them in this devotion at this time of year. Back of Card includes explanation of the red & white rays as well as the following promises: I promise that the soul which shall venerate this picture will not perish. I further promise that soul victory over its enemies already here on earth and especially in the hour of death. I myself shall defend that soul as my own glory... I am giving to people a vessel, with which they should come to fetch graces from the font of Mercy. That vessel is this picture with the subscription: JESUS I TRUST IN THEE. I desire that the first Sunday after Easter be celebrated as the Feast of Mercy... anyone who approaches on this day the source of Life will obtain complete remission of punishment and sin. Mankind will not find peace, unless it turns with confidence to My Mercy.

St. Catherine was greatly troubled over the sorrows that plagued the Church of her day... Who was the true pope? More than one claimed the title... the schism caused chaos amongst the faithful, many priests did little to help the matter, living scandalous lives... But instead of wasting time complaining about them, she applied herself through prayer and sacrifice, begging God to assist His Pope and Priests and make them holy. Let us encourage everyone we know to follow her example! Enough pointing fingers! Lets pray instead! BACK OF CARD has a brief bio of this incredible saint, who was the 23rd of 25 children! What saints are we losing in our day, due to the limited family sizes even in good Catholic families? Also has a quotation from the Dialogue of St. Catherine... God the Father spoke directly to her about the priests of her day, and told her that if they were not holy, it is due to our negligence in praying for them, so it is really our own fault. One of my favorite cards for two reasons, St. Catherine is my patron saint, and because it was through reading this, I stopped casting stones at everyone and learned how to pray for them instead! Thank you St. Catherine!

This dear saint, the "Little Flower" is a wonderful example to all of us... showing us how easy it is to be holy, by doing the every day things well. She was so very, very ordinary... after her death the nuns were afraid they would have nothing to write in her obituary! But God has revealed to the world how beautiful St. Therese is, for by being so small she became great! Let us encourage all to follow her example! Back of Card speaks in her own words about being as a little child, not too afflicted about our faults, trusting Our Father in Heaven will reach down and pick us up when we fall... much more!
